All along the American artist Katinka Matson strongly supports technology to deepen our relation with nature and world.
Using the flatbed scanner CCD, invented in 1975 by Ray Kurzweill, the Matson’s creations shows not only petals, stalks and pistils but also rhythm and deepness they can express if setted in a certain position.
The main difference with a photo camera is given by lighting the object and by darkness wich glades the background, elements that stick out details and coulors.
Katinka Matson gives us an exhibition, setted by teatrodelsuono,in wich you feel lost in a precious and charming garden.
