THROUGH THE MIRROR
masterclass by Giovanni di Cicco
This master class is composed of theoretical sessions about the relationship between dance and digital technologies, and laboratories where it will be possible to have a live experience of the EyesWeb software.
EyesWeb, elaborated by InfoMus Lab and diffused internationally in many artistic productions, allows to read, analyze and interpret the dancers’ gestures, turning them into sounds, musical sceneries, animations, video.
Through this master class there will also be a concrete experimentation of the possibilities this tool offers to dance, in order to imagine its possible developments and discuss its technical and theoretical implications.
The master class will be followed by two days of public meetings in which the masterclass’ will be showed and analyzed.
